New Project

Since my brain has persisted in "Party Like It's 1989" mode, I decided I'd use it to get back on the writing horse.  My subject: the single greatest collection of fiends and villains in superhero RPG history.  I am, of course, speaking of Scott Bennie's immortal Classic Enemies.

Expect a lengthy run of analysis here in the coming days and weeks.  I hope to have the first one up before tomorrow night.

  1. I'd love a peek in the pre-5E world of HERO. It's always been a misty realm beyond my ken.

  2. You are missing out, Tyler! Pre-5th Champions is where it's at, before Steve Long flushed the whole thing and gave us the Marvel-lite Universe starring Defender.

  3. Play nice, Matt. :)

Steve's a good friend of mine (as are many of the pre-5th Hero crowd along with a lot of the post-5th). It's OK to like different things is kind of my online motto.

And Defender was plenty boring in 4th ed, IMO.
