Since my brain has persisted in "Party Like It's 1989" mode, I decided I'd use it to get back on the writing horse. My subject: the single greatest collection of fiends and villains in superhero RPG history. I am, of course, speaking of Scott Bennie's immortal Classic Enemies.

You are missing out, Tyler! Pre-5th Champions is where it's at, before Steve Long flushed the whole thing and gave us the Marvel-lite Universe starring Defender.
Steve's a good friend of mine (as are many of the pre-5th Hero crowd along with a lot of the post-5th). It's OK to like different things is kind of my online motto.
I'd love a peek in the pre-5E world of HERO. It's always been a misty realm beyond my ken.

And Defender was plenty boring in 4th ed, IMO.
