So, I've got this nice shiny new Blogger site. While I liked Dreamwidth well enough, it didn't give me enough in the way of features and it lacked quite a bit in terms of replying for my handful of regular readers. I don't plan on taking that site down (unless I can find a way to move my old posts over here and keep the dates intact), so it will remain live, if untended, as long as Dreamwidth allows it to stay up.
I haven't had much to write about recently. Most of that's due to work-related reasons, though a fair bit has been a rather constant state of creative blockage. Which is probably due to the work-related stuff. I think things on the job front are settling down a bit, so hopefully, the creative juices will start flowing again.
In the meantime, I'm up far too early on a Sunday morning, trying to entertain a hyperkinetic, attention-starved (just ask her) kitten. Newcastle - Chelsea are 1-1 at the half, and Liverpool - Tottenham is coming up in a few hours. This afternoon, I've got the 4e Master Maze game to play, so I even get to throw some dice before the holiday's done. Until then, I'm going to do some more work on this site, getting it into shape.
Right on, man. Glad you get to rock the dice a bit. Game on!

ReplyDeleteThe various LiveJournal export tools floating around ought to work with Dreamdwidth, since they both use what is essentially the same underlying platform.
@Tyler: There seems to be a 1 meg limit to the export/import, and I don't know how the backdating would work. At this point, I've just renamed the old one "Archive," and left it up.
ReplyDeleteHooray for new interfaces! (interfacae?)
